The Spring Manufacturers Institute (SMI) in partnership with Curtiss-Wright, Surface Technologies, is pleased to offer SMI members a complimentary webinar, Shot Peening, on Thursday February 12, 2026, 11 a.m. – 12 Noon EST using Microsoft Teams. In this webinar, students will learn about: • Shot Peening Theory • Applications • Quality Control Students will have the opportunity to seek opinions and clarification in the Q&A session following the presentation. This class will benefit students by increasing their knowledge of the shot peening process. The training course instructor is David Breuer, Director of Sales – North America, at Curtiss-Wright, Surface Technologies. David has been with Curtiss-Wright for 26 years. He has a BSME degree from the Milwaukee School of Engineering. He is a recognized subject matter expert on shot peening and has presented at SMI educational events in the past. There is no cost for this program, however students must register to obtain the meeting link.
